At the 2012 Laneway Festival Anthony Gonzalez, the creative centre of shoegazey dream weavers M83, divulged that he was creating the soundtrack for an American science-fiction film – which we now know is director Joseph Kosinski’s forthcoming effort Oblivion starring Tom Cruise.
Today the title track from the score was released via label Back Lot Records, a soaring epic featuring guest vocalist Susanne Sundfør. The Oblivion soundtrack album will be released on 9th April and it’s one we are well psyched about.
