Hackers Got Into Katy Perry’s Twitter & All They Did Was Shoutout Tay Tay

Newsflash one for today: Katy Perry‘s Twitter is still the most followed account on the platform, with 89 million followers. Newsflash two: it was hacked.
Her account sent out a flurry of tweets which aren’t in her usual demure and thoughtful tone, as you can see below:

Turns out that the password ‘FUCKUTAYLORSWIFT’ is simply way too easy to avoid the nefarious designs of a would-be hacker. Either way, it’s a bit of an indictment on Twitter’s security if even the biggest, verified account on Twitter can be accessed without authorisation.
But can we talk for a moment about how she’s still the most followed person on Twitter? Let’s have a look at the rankings for a moment…
7 million ahead of Bieber. Damn. No wonder she’s such a sterling target for hackers. Too bad the limits of their imagination were tweeting the word ‘fag’ at KEEM and being cheeky to Taylor Swift.
The tweets have been deleted, and there’s been no word from Katy’s camp.
