Cards on the table here, guys, I have no idea who or what the fuck 5 Seconds Of Summer is, but then again, it’s not my job to introduce them at major awards shows. Kendall Jenner has no such excuse.
When tasked with introducing the Australian group at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas today, the reality TV spawn suffered a panicked deer-in-the-headlights moment as she blanked on their name, momentarily confusing them with One Direction.
To be fair, their name was a bit shit to begin with. Jenner has since blamed the mix-up on the fact that she left her contacts at home.

Awards show flubs are clearly a ‘thing’ now. In the wake of this and John Travolta‘s Adele Dazeem snafu at the Oscars, it’s only a matter of time before Jennifer Lawrence adorably ‘blanks’ on the title of the next Hunger Games film at a press conference.
I still have no fucking idea who 5 Seconds Of Summer are, but apparently they were trending bigger than the budget last week in Australia, so I’m guessing a lot of people do.
