As you well know at this point, Australia has been invited to take part in the celebration of restraint and subtlety that is the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. The hopes and dreams of our fair nation are resting on one Guy Theodore Sebastian, who performed his song ‘Tonight Again’ at a recent showcase gig in Amsterdam.
The show was one of several intended to drum up support ahead of Eurovision, and although the voting process on the night is super political, with age-old vendettas and grudges coming into play, our Guy appears to have won a few people over with his well-received performance.
There were no pyrotechnics, troll costumes, fireworks on synchronised dancing routines evident in this stripped-back set, but you’ve got to save one or two surprises. Enjoy:
