Get Tacky With Weird Al Yankovic’s First Of 8 Videos In 8 Days

Guys, remember Weird Al Yankovic? The undisputed king of the music parody song/video/performance? The man who built a career making hilarious tweaked versions of hit songs? He’s still kicking about, and he’s still as hilarious as ever.

Starting today, Weird Al is debuting the #8videos8days project, wherein he will unveil 8 new videos in 8 successive days. Wildly ambitious, that’s for sure.
The first cab off the rank is a clip for “his” song Tacky – a loving pisstake on Pharrell Williams‘ smash hit “Happy” featuring lyrics that cover just about everything that everyone does that’s really, really annoying.
Filmed in the historic Palace Theatre in downtown Los Angeles – which provided the location for Julianne Moore‘s apartment in The Big Lebowski for all of you keen eyed cinephiles out there – the clip enlists the help of famous pals Jack Black, Kristen Schaal, Eric Stonestreet, Margaret Cho and Aisha Taylor.
Check it out in all its stripey-panted splendour right now, thanks to the wonderful, charming, huggable folk at Nerdist.
