While the official Beer InCider Festival line-up for 2018 has been trickling out for a while now, the lid has finally been lifted on the remaining three acts to round out the cider-iest, beer-iest festival kicking ’round Brissy.
Previously announced headliners The Smith Street Band and The Jungle Giants will be in phenom company, with Mallrat, Alice Ivy and Morning Harvey recently jumping in on the action.

With over 300 independent brews on tap, you’re going to have a bloody tough time getting through the lot but you can still give it a (responsible) crack. To be fair though, this isn’t your run-of-the-mill music festival as the beer and cider is primo quality, so you’ll actually want to sip and savour your bev. Foreign concept for some, no?
Of course, nothing beats a good ol’ food truck to hit up while you sip on your brew, so naturally, Beer InCider has set up trucks as far as the eye can see to give you an overwhelming number of options.
As an added bonus, this year Fixation Brewing has collaborated with The Smith Street Band’s lead guitarist, Lee Hartney, to conjure up his very own beer (that was actually my life goal but fine), called the Lee Hartney Experience. Track it down and make sure you get a taste of Hartney in yeasty, liquid form.
Beer InCider Experience kicks off on Friday, 21st of September, 4:30pm to 11pm, and runs ’til Saturday, 22nd of September, 11:00am – 10pm at the Brisbane Showgrounds, Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills.
