Just when you thought Groovin The Moo
couldn’t get any juicier (milkier?), your festival pals have just gone ahead an unveiled a whole whack of seriously killer local acts at each and every outing nationwide.
Bolstering the ranks at GTM’s Adelaide date in Wayville are Jesse Davidson, PINES, Tom West, and the fuzzed-out lords Horror My Friend.
Maitland is copping Dean Lewis, GLADES, Jack Grace, and Ocean Alley.
Townsville can expect to see Confidence Man, Mallrat, Robbie Miller, and Tia Gostelow.
Bendigo is in for some of the ascendant Alex Lahey, Birdz, LANKS and Slum Sociable.
Our nation’s capital will get around B Wise, Bec Sandridge, MANU CROOKS, and Polographia.
Finally, Bunbury will be treated to Morgan Bain, POW Negro, Teischa, Tobacco Rat, and Ziggy.
Well, we lied about the “finally” bit. A stack of acts are also hopping on, courtesy of Triple J Unearthed: Heaps Good Friends, Introvert, Greta Stanley, Tusk, Slow Turismo, and Luke Fox will be popping on their local stages, respectively.
In case you’ve forgotten, that’s all in addition to these bona fide guns who’ve already been locked in:
The Jungle Giants
L-FRESH The LION
Northeast Party House
The Smith Street Band
And, if you were temporarily dazed by these new additions to the point you forget when you’ll be able to catch ’em:
Friday 28 April – Adelaide Showgrounds, Wayville, SA
Saturday 29 April – Maitland Showgrounds, Maitland NSW
Sunday 30 April – Murray Sports Complex, Townsville QLD
Saturday 6 May – Prince of Wales Showground, Bendigo VIC
Sunday 7 May – University of Canberra, Canberra ACT
Saturday 13 May – Hay Park, Bunbury WA
What a bloody time, hey?
