Frank Ocean Drops Out Of Future Music Festival

Fans of Odd Future‘s most soulful component, Frank Ocean, will be bummed to learn that the vocalist has pulled out of his Future Music Festival dates.

Future Entertainment released a statement saying, “Future Entertainment are sad to announce that due to the delay of his debut album, Frank Ocean will no longer feature on the Future Music Festival bill this March. Information received from his management advises that his commitment to the album, and creation of the right live show is paramount and he sends his deepest apologies that these plans have taken longer than anticipated.”

Hopefully the remaining acts on the extremely impressive lineup ought to satisfy: New Order, Friendly Fires, Die Antwoord, Fatboy Slim, Aphex Twin, James Murphy, Hercules and Love Affair, Azari & III and Holy Ghost to name a handful.

And don’t forget, thanks to Future Entertainment we’re giving away the Future Musical Insider’s Pass, an incredible prize tailored specifically to those of you who are chasing aspirations in event management or running music festivals. In a nutshell, the prize will give you backstage access at Future to help the Future Entertainment team for a day and assist with media schedules, liaising with artists and other assorted activities.
