Florence Welch is headed back to Australia, on a wing and a prayer – and a Debit Mastercard.
The event will be held at Sydney’s Seymour Centre on Tuesday November 15, only weeks after Florence + The Machine release their much-anticipated second album, Ceremonials. You can only get tickets from Mastercard (duh) by registering for the event on November 7. If you do the math, it means we’ll be some of the first people in the world to hear the new record performed live.
Florence’s gig is part of Mastercard’s Pricelesss Music Series, which follows on from previous high-profile gigs comissioned by the piece of plastic including Birds Of Tokyo at Cockatoo Island and Kasabian at Melbourne’s Docklands.
Says Florence of the whole shindig: ‘I’m so excited to come back to Australia, I’ve had some really amazing times on tour there and I can’t wait to get back to see everyone again..see you soon…Love Florence.’
Can’t argue with that logic.
