Drake, Nicki, Kanye Are Among Forbes’ Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Artists Of 2015

Following on from their list of the highest-paid models of 2015, the good people at Forbes are still quite keen to remind you that there are plenty of people out there who make a lot more $$$ than you do.
To this end, they have gone ahead and released their list of the highest-paid performers in hip-hop, otherwise known as their Hip Hop Cash Kings 2015 list.
The name of the list implies that it’s a very dude-centric affair, and this is indeed the case, with only one woman, Nicki MInaj, cracking a spot in the Top 20.
Diddy tops the list, with $US 60 million earned from 2014-2015, most of that money coming from his projects outside of music, like his vodka brand Ciroc, clothing like Sean John and TV network Revolt.
Jay-Z takes out the number two spot, with $US 56 million earned, although as Forbes note, “his 22 shows with Beyoncé boosted the multifaceted mogul’s bottom line.”
Your boy Drake is in the number three spot, with earnings of $US 39.5 million this past year, “thanks mostly to his earnings on the road, where his shows gross about $1 million per night.”
The rest of the list is populated with the likes of Kanye, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar and, erm, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Have fun at work today:
