In news as rare as crimes against Bert Newton Thomas Bangalter, one half of Daft Punk and the reason your little brother has a cracked version of Ableton DJ’d sans mask at a party in LA. Turns out he’s human after all (sorry).
Playing at Dim Mak’s Tuesday night, Bangalter joined a swag of Parisian dancefloor aficionados (Kavinsky, SebastiAn, SoMe, Gaspard from Justice, Mehdi, et al.) in celebration of Ed Banger head honcho Busy P’s birthday. Unfortunately the night ended in a game of fisticuffs resulting in the below image of Bangalter putting up his scrawny dukes at no one in particular and diminishing the god-like status Daft Punk once held in my heart.
Perhaps a spot of 8-bit gaming will take my mind off it. Bonus game: Spot Pedestrian’s good friend and prominent Melbourne DJ in the melee.
