Chris Martin Premieres New Song At iPod Launch

This is the biggest day in history: Apple has unveiled the new Multi-Touch iPod Nano and gone is the unreliable clickwheel which has been replaced with a touchscreen interface and a shuffle-esque square form factor.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs said, “This is the biggest reinvention of the iPod nano since its debut in 2005, and we think users are going to love it. Replacing the click wheel with our Multi-Touch interface has enabled us to shrink the iPod nano into an amazingly small design that is instantly wearable with its built-in clip.”

It’s also 46 percent smaller and 42 percent lighter and the prices are $149 for 8GB of storage or $179 for 16GB and pre-orders being taken today.

In honour of Apple’s newest gadget and because his daughter is on brand Chris Martin was brought in to perform a brand new Coldplay song about the nano called “Wedding Bells”.
