Big Day Out‘s New Zealand shows this year will be their last, promoters have confirmed.
“This year will be New Zealand’s last Big Day Out. Come party with us this Friday. It’s been an amazing 18 years here in Auckland,” the festival’s PR announced via Twitter. This announcement comes after a turbulent few months for the kingpin of Australian festivals, with their acts being banned, pulling headliners from Adelaide and Perth shows and one of their founders leaving.
A sad day for New Zealand. We blame Swedish House Mafia for everything.
