In a recent interview with Triple J host Zan Rowe, weed advocate, cat lover and Best Coast frontwoman Bethany Cosentino unveiled plans for an Australian tour and possible festival date in March of next year.
Said Cosentino: “We’re actually planning on coming to Australia in March…I think there’s festivals involved but I’m not one hundred percent sure I just know that our record came out over there on Pop Frenzy so I know that they’re anxious to get us out there to do a tour to support the record.”.
If she had said February we’d be all like LANEWAY (the inaugural post on Laneway’s newly launched blog not only name checks Best Coast but lovingly praises the burgeoning LA scene). But she didn’t so either Cosentino got her tour dates wrong or Laneway are throwing out lineup red herrings to confuse everyone and Best Coast will play some other Australian festival in March.
