Bang Bang Eche’s Guided Tour Of Christchurch

Over the next few months Pedestrian will be profiling seven creatives from all across New Zealand for a cultural exchange program that doesn’t involve claiming Crowded House as our own. Yesterday we discussed all things Wellington with fashion blogger Natalie Smith and today T’Nealle Worsley of dance-punk four-piece Bang Bang Eche will take us on a guided tour of her favourite spots in sunny Christchurch. Take it away T’Nealle…

This is my favorite house in Christchurch.

Is the Vanilla Ices truck in Victoria Square, they make delicious soft serve.

This is Victoria square which is my favorite place to eat lunch on a sunny day.

I love the library because it has free Internet and a good craft section.

Across the road from the library is the best Asian supermarket that always has $1 melon ice blocks- YUM!!

The Cathedral is the most iconic building in Christchurch.

The China Kitchen is down a little alley way between the square and Hereford Street, they make AMAZING vege dumplings.

The Great Opportunity shop just past Barbados Street is the best op-shop in Christchurch. They have EVERYTHING you could think of and you will never pay more than $3 for a t-shirt.

Piko is an organic groceries store that sells the best vege pies in town.

Barbados cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Christchurch and it is massive.

CIRCA is a little coffee shop just down the road from my house and the make super nice coffee and cakes and the store is really cute. Oh and they use Underground coffee beans which is a local fair trade organic roaster.
