Arctic Monkeys are running around the East Coast this week and frontman Alex Turner mamaged to find enough time to stop by triple j to record the first Like A Version of 2012.
In keeping with his rather amazing quiff that he seems to be rocking these days, he covers a classic Patsy Cline track, ‘Strange’ and then forgets how to end it. Even better is when he discusses Coachella and seems to forget that Radiohead are on the lineup. “Wow, I need to see this poster, don’t I?” he says. He also makes a great crack about Dr Dre‘s long-impending album, Detox. In all honesty, the banter is better than the song. Listen below:
