A series of clues are leading Childish Gambino faithfuls to believe his new album is dropping pretty bloody soon, and our bodies couldn’t be more ready.
Before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s consider the evidence – although, might I say, it’s v convincing.
Childish Gambino, AKA Donald Glover, tweeted this today:
“…Awaken, My Love!” pic.twitter.com/pyDUuSPb5f
— childish gambino (@donaldglover) November 10, 2016
Awaken, My Love is already confirmed to be the title of his new album, and the fact that Glover uploaded this to Twitter is telling. He rarely uses the platform – having tweeted only 19 times since joining in 2009, and having subsequently deleted all but this one.
He also changed his Facebook profile picture to the same image (presumably the cover art for the album). Before Glover released his second album, Because The Internet, in 2013, guess what he did a month earlier? He went and changed his FB prof pic to the album artwork, didn’t he? Huge.
Amazon services across the globe seem to share the conclusive opinion that Awaken, My Love will drop on the 2nd of December. This date was also confirmed by a sign at a record store.

Your move, you cryptic bugger. This is going to be a ripper of an album – it’s his first Childish Gambino release since 2014’s STN/MTN Kauai. Safe to say we’re really excited.
