Refreshingly candid and prolific tweeter, Australian music festival Svengali and the most powerful man working in the Australian music industry, AJ Maddah, has this afternoon confirmed that Sunday’s Perth leg of the festival that continues to give, the Big Day Out, will be the last of its kind in Western Australia.
In response to a teen – who describes herself as “filled with love for music and hate for people” – enquiring into the longevity of Soundwave in Perth, Maddah, who recently acquired a stake in Big Day Out, replied with the following:
