PEDESTRIAN.TV has partnered with CUA to help make sense of our finances in this weird world we're living in.

Feel like you could use a helping hand when it comes to managing your money right now? Honey, you and me both.

It’s good news then, that we’re running a bunch of free (yes, free) interactive virtual workshops hosted by Bachelor winner, podcast host and Toni May founder, Laura Byrne, as well as finance experts from CUA, on September 29, October 21 and December 2. What’s more? There’s a winner in every ~classroom~, with one participant from each session taking home a nice $500.

Dubbed ‘The Financial Glow Up’ series, the seminars, in partnership with financial provider CUA, will give you the tools you need to be ace with money, from budgeting to saving and spending. Each workshop will focus on a different area, so while you are absolutely welcome to go to all three (more chance of winning that $500), you can pick the one that’s most suited to your needs should you be a busy bee.

For those who aren’t familiar with CUA, they’re Australia’s largest customer-owned banking organisation, making them the perfect match for banking, finance expertise and handy hints at the events.

See below the plan of attack:

September 29: Laura will be taking you through all things home loans, from how to save for a deposit to common (yet sometimes boggling) terms and whether or not to go for a fixed or variable home loan.

October 21: This will be all about making yourself sustainable, being smarter with money, choosing a bank that will help you bank better and more.

December 2: During the final session, Laura will take you through financial stability, exploring how to get a handle on your cash flows, chatting to your partner about finances and how to plan for the future.

If you’re keen to get involved, you can register below. The next session will kick off at 7pm (AEDT) on Wednesday the 21st of October and will run for about 1 hour.

Here’s hoping Buster, Marlie or Matty J make a guest appearance.

Registration is now closed for the Savings seminar but remains open for the Sustainability and Stability seminar.
