You might not know Scott Cam by name, but you certainly remember his bonce – he’s the host of The Block, which you’ve absolutely watched at least one single time in your life.
Scott Cam loooooves home reno’s and fixing things. He is like your uncle who once electrocuted himself trying to grab a live wire from inside a wall cavity. Except better at DIY. So it’s no surprise that Scott loves a shed.
He loves sheds so much, actually, that he wrote an entire book about them.
Presumably to bolster sales for said book (I’ll personally be buying it purely for that ADORABLE DOGGO on the front cover), Scott’s been revealing his ’12 Sheds Of Xmas’ on his blog, which is both the most insane concept and yet somehow the greatest. Let’s count down, shall we?
#12 AC/DC HEAVEN
Cop that improved cupboard with the window sections replaced with AC/DC posters, hoo boy.
#11 IDK I DON’T THINK THIS GUY LIKES FORDS, HEY
#10 SOMEONE ACTUALLY USES THIS SHED FOR REAL SHED THINGS
#9 DEFINITELY OWNED BY A MAN CHILD
#8 LITERALLY A PUB INSIDE A HOUSE
#7 SORRY BUT THAT IS A WAREHOUSE NOT A SHED
#6 IS THAT… IS THAT A WALL OF BEER?
#5 GUYS COME ON, THAT IS A HOUSE
#4 LITERALLY A FORTRESS
#3 THIS IS A MAN CAVE WITH ADDED MAN CAVE AND A SPRINKLE OF EXTREME MAN CAVE
#2 BEER LINED WALLS ARE CLEARLY A SHED THING
Look, we get that this is a shed countdown and not a ‘man cave’ countdown – but given how many man caves were included that were literally so OTT we had a subconscious urge to go buy new Stubbies, we really felt the #1 spot deserved to be a bit more dramatic. Here’s Scott’s take, though.
#1 in my 12 Sheds of Xmas comes from Trevor Kent in NSW. Trevor is a man that’s after my own heart, just look at his tools and how beautifully arranged they are – can’t say the same about my own.
So… the winning shed comes down to extreme organisation?
Scott, we’re hurt in our soul region. But sure – that really is a phenomenally neat shed. We’ll give Trevor that, at least.
