It turns out one of your bad habits isn’t as bad as you might have thought: an Italian scientific study has published findings suggesting that a beer or two a day might actually be good for you, lessening the risk of heart disease by about 25%.
Before you start slamming a dozen schooners every night for your health, they recommend up to two pints for men and half that for women.
The scientists behind the study have attributed to benefits to the “good cholesterol” present in the amber liquid we all love so much.
They did however caution that drinking beer does slightly increase the chance of breath, throat and mouth cancer so probably take it with a grain of salt. The advice, not the beer. That would be weird.
