Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins and the superhero herself, Gal Gadot, have shared the first sneak peeks at the DC blockbuster’s sequel: Wonder Woman 1984.
In case the film’s title didn’t make it abundantly clear, the images show the sequel takes place a cool 70-odd years after the first instalment. Warm orange tones, shopping centres, and washed-out denim abound.
One of the pics also shows Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), a fella who… well, blew up at the end of Wonder Woman.

Cool shit. Lord knows Thor: Ragnarok showed superhero blockbusters can benefit from some neon-lit madness.
The film will debut on American screens on November 1, 2019.
