SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers to Avengers: Infinity War.

Guardians Of The Galaxy star and generally staunch unit Dave Bautista has escalated his rhetoric about the firing of the saga’s director James Gunn, saying he’s not sold on working under the Disney banner again.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, the 49-year-old star of the first two films in Marvel‘s franchise said he’s still upset over Disney’s decision to oust Gunn over an old series of tweets he made joking about paedophilia and rape.

“There’s a bit of an issue – it’s a bittersweet conversation,” Bautista said.

“No, it’s a bitter-bitter conversation because I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn.”

After referencing the film’s current status in production limbo, the bloke straight-up admitted he’s unsure if he’ll actually return to the Marvel fold.

“To be honest with you I don’t know if I want to work for Disney,” he said.

That statement is just the latest salvo he’s issued over Gunn’s firing. Previously, he tweeted “He’s made mistakes. We all have. Im NOT ok with what’s happening to him.”

He followed that up with the claim it’s “pretty nauseating” to work for the company, after the tweets were shared around by noted alt-right agitators.

As far as his potential departure from the series goes, Bautista’s character Drax was one of the many, many Marvel characters snapped out of existence in the jumbo-sized Avengers: Infinity War, meaning it’d be easy-ish to write his character into oblivion.

Whether that happens is, of course, yet to be seen.
