Today’s episode of Young Liberals Saying Dumb Shit On Facebook comes to you from Swinburne Uni, where the vice president of the Liberal Club has just stepped down after a ream of sexist and homophobic abuse came to light in … you guessed it, The Age.
This time around, screenshots emerged of an utter charmer by the name of Tim Dark, who is also vice president of the Keysborough branch of the Liberal Party, laying into “butchy lesbians” and “faggots” in a comments thread.
”Lesbians are misandrists and the homosexual like yourself could be considered misogynistic,” he said “If you are into stereotyping.” Boilerplate bullshit about how gay marriage will tear apart the fabric of society and how being a lesbian is a lifestyle choice also followed.
Dark clarified later in the rant that he does not “want all homosexuals dead”, though. Which is nice.
