Ya Boy Channing Tatum Is Doing A Movie With The Makers Of ‘Archer’

Delicious, rotating slab of human kebab meat Channing Tatum has signed on to appear in an animated film from Netflix, and it sounds like a wild goddamn ride.

The film is called America: The Motion Picture and is described as an “R-rated revisionist history tale about the founding of the country.” Tatum will play the lead role of George Washington, America’s founding father.
We were already on board based just on that, but America has a pretty solid pedigree – it is to be produced by Matt Thompson and David Reed, the duo behind the excellent Archer, and Thompson will direct.

Dave Callahan, the writer behind The Expendables, is responsible for the script, so you can probably expect a level of explosions and gunfire on par with that.
This will surely be Tatum’s most exciting venture into politics since the criminally-underrated White House DownThere is no word on a release date as yet but we’re eagerly awaiting further news.
