Felicity “Snoop” Pearson, an actor from the now defunct HBO Drama The Wire, has been arrested during a Baltimore drug raid.
In what can only be described as a tragically hilarious case of life imitating art, Pearson – who played a contracted killer working for a drug syndicate – was nabbed by DEA officials after a 7 month investigation into a heroin and cocaine racket.
Surely Pearson could have run with the method acting defence: “Oh, this isn’t what it looks like. I’m just researching the character of Snoop in a little more depth.” You know, just in case the show comes back on air and her character is miraculously brought back from the dead.” That would work, right?
Just like her character and the rapper of the same name, Snoop is no stranger to a courthouse. At the age of 14 she was convicted of second degree murder for which she served 5 years of an 8 year term.
