Forget That Bass, Will Sparks Drops A Limited Edition Melbs-Inspired Sneaker

Will Sparks is one of Australia’s most successful modern musical exports.

The 25-year-old Melbourne-born DJ has been dishing up bangers and mash to sold-out arenas ’round the world for the better part of a decade now. His gurn-heavy tracks like ‘Ah Yeah So What‘ and ‘Chemical Energy‘ have become cult hits. Heck, he even played at Ja’mie King‘s 18th birthday.

Now, put the bass on hold and instead dropped a limited edition sneaker with Aussie athleisure sneaker label, Athletikan.

The shoe is supposedly inspired by “Melbourne’s fashion, fitness and music scene” and are the “perfect kicks for gym and training while being versatile and sleek to wear with your best kit on a Saturday night.”

Untz untz untz.

Here’s a promo clip for ’em, which (of course) featured Sparksy hooning around Albert Park Lake in his matte green Mercedes:

A limited drop of 400 pairs will be made available on May 30, with Athletikan promising they’ll fly out the door.
