Watch: Trailer For AHS Creator’s New Horror-Comedy, Scream Queens

The trailer for Ryan Murphy‘s new horror-comedy show, Scream Queens, is out and it is… something.

Murphy, the creator of American Horror Story and Glee, made a completely bizarre comment not long ago about creating a totally new genre by mixing horror and comedy (which no one has ever done before, except every single person who has), and this is our first full look at what that entails.
In a typical ‘so bad, it’s good’ kind of 90’s horror-com, Emma Roberts appears to be the bitchy college girl in a massive elegant mansion. So it seems she’s playing the exact same character as in American Horror Story: Coven, just with less witchcraft, and more squealing.
It’s said to follow a similar layout to AHS, in that every episode will follow a different story. It’ll be Murphy’s third anthology after the OG terrifying cult favourite. He is also doing American Crime Story, with the first season being ‘The People V. OJ Simpson‘, and stars Selma Blair as Kris Jenner, and David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian (OJ‘s lawyer).
We are a little confused, but Murphy has been a ‘fucked up horror’ genius with AHS, so we’re kinda curious to see where he’ll go with this.
Scream Queens is coming out this spring.
