Watch The Trailer For The First Feature Film Shot Entirely On An iPhone ‘Hooked Up’

The trailer for ‘the first feature film to be shot entirely on an iPhone’ has arrivéd. The synopsis is pretty simple: two unlikeable American bros on the holiday of a lifetime, having the time of their life, until life got in the way. Turns out the ‘hot’ gal they ‘pick up’ in Barcelona is actually the devil, or thereabouts. Cute.

Whilst it doesn’t look particularly amazing, it’s definitely notable because of what this kind of D.I.Y production means for the motion picture industry overall. The future is now and everyone’s a filmmaker.

It’s the first feature from Pablo Larcuen who has previously directed the Sundance selected short film ‘Mi Amigo Invisible‘ (aka My Invisible Friend) and the award-winning ‘Elefante‘.
Michael Paszt of film distributor Raven Banner, who have acquired the world sales rights to ‘Hooked Up‘, has said of the acquisition: “We’re thrilled to be representing Hooked Up. Pablo Larcuen is an enormous talent. It’s no small task to shoot on the iPhone and the results are quite impressive.”
