‘Mr. Robot’ was the surprise hit show of last year – a weird, paranoiac thriller about capitalism and the Internet starring Rami Malek as a delusive, socially anxious hacker who joins a whole bunch of Occupy Wall Street influenced anarchists who want to bring down the biggest corporation in the world.
Basically, it was wonderful fodder for your mate who loves to smoke weed and talk about how money is “just imaginary numbers in a computer, my dude”.
Well, now there’s a full season two trailer. No spoilers, but the number of weird masks and yelling implies that this is going to keep up the pace.
Nice. But is it real. Is any of it real? Guess you’ll have to find out in July when the season drops, when you park yourself in front of that mind-numbing vector of total social control that we like to call TELEVISION.
