WATCH: Renée Zellweger Is Back And Up The Duff In Bridget Jones’s Baby

If you’re stinging for more British rom-coms about romantically-frustrated Londoners trying to absorb the impact of the transition from your lonely thirties to your lonely forties, then rejoice: Renée Zellweger has returned for ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’. Huuuuuge. Check it out:
So Zellweger is back, and so too is Colin Firth as her now former fling. The conceit, it appears, is that Bridget meets a wonderful new dude (Patrick Dempsey), falls pregnant and can’t be 100% who precisely the father of the baby is. A glimpse on the trailer reveals that Ed Sheeran is in the movie. Are the two things related? We hope so.
‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ is directed by Sharon Maguire, who helmed the original film, and is set for a September release. Prepare to be a bit awkward, but also heartwarmed in a distinctively British way.
