It;s been known for a while that Dave Chappelle was staging his glorious return via a bunch of Netflix specials – comprising a mix of totally new standup and unreleased material. Now the ball’s really rolling: we’ve got release dates.
It wasn’t totally clear in the initial announcement what ‘unreleased material’ would look like. Was it gonna be shit from back in the noughties which we hadn’t seen? Turns out it isn’t. The first two releases are pretty damn recent.
The first one, Dave Chappelle: The Age of Spin, was filmed in Los Angeles last March, and the second, Dave Chappelle: Deep in the Heart of Texas, was filmed at Austin City Limits Live in April 2015.

Both specials are landing on Netflix on March 21. Get hyped.
