Watch A Rational Fear’s ‘Sydney Mining Herald’ Spoof

From political molotov throwers and Sydney based live comedy show A Rational Fear comes this timely remix of the increasingly ironic Sydney Morning Herald “we say no” campaign. The original was built on the tenets of “independence” and “integrity” but in light of recent structural policies which will see online paywalls erected, tabloid formats adopted, and 1900 Australian jobs made redundant whilst under the iron ore stewardship of one mining magnate to rule them all the team have decided to re-dub the ad for accuracy reasons. “It can be hard work writing editorials about how good mining is,” they say. “Especially now we have to write fifteen of them every single day.”

Here’s the original…

A Rational Fear is your number one source for Gina Rinehart jokes and next takes place on Monday at FBi Social in Sydney.
