Unofficial Breaking Bad Lego Is Here To Alleviate Your Meth (Drama) Withdrawals

It’s been close to six months since the airing of the operatic series finale of visionary Vince Gilligan meth drama Breaking Bad imprisoned us in a post-traumatic weep dungeon dozens of dead bodies, countless incremental changes in morality, sixty-two episodes and five seasons in six years in the making.

Others have stepped in to fill the breach but with respect to True Detective/Game Of Thrones/Mad Men not one potential successor to the Greatest Show In Television History feels like as immersive a universe, as culturally pervasive, as eloquently crafted, or as immaculately acted as that particular show was on a weekly basis. Even its cold opens did more with sixty seconds than what most shows can do in an episode. Layers and layers and layers.
Point is, it was one of the greatest shows on television and any chance we get to relive its greatness is something worth investing in. Enter pop culture subverting custom toy manufacturer Citizen Brick who have just unveiled a new range of figurines for their Albuquerque Action Squad set, featuring opportunistic minifigs of familiar looking New Mexico identities including the Legal Defense Enthusiast (Saul Goodman), the Drug Dealing Enthusiast (Jesse Pinkman), and the Law Enforcement Enthusiast Hank ‘M*ther F*cking ASAC’ Schrader
Something to tide you over til Better Call Saul arrives.
The set is available now at Citizen Brick.
