Unknown Scandal Rocks The Biggest Loser Australia

Further details explaining the exact nature of the “scandal” are scant at the moment but an incident requiring immediate attention from the authorities has tarnished the newly launched season of The Biggest Loser: The Next Generation, with Ten issuing a brief statement today confirming that an inappropriate “incident” involving “two contestants” had forced their removal from the show.

“Very early in the process of putting together The Biggest Loser: The Next Generation, there was an event involving two contestants,”
said the network in a statement.

“In line with our strict duty of care obligations, the
incident was referred to the relevant authorities. Therefore, we cannot
comment any further other than to say that contestants were unable to
continue with the show.”

It is believed that none of the televised contestants were involved in the incident.

The Herald Sun labelled it a “sex scandal” in an article which has since been retracted.

More details as they arise.
