‘True Blood’ Stars Sans Pants On Rolling Stone

The role of the magazine copy editor encompasses the kind of stuff you’d imagine: correcting spelling, punctuation, grammar, terminology and removing superfluous words; but they also write what is referred to as display copy which includes headlines and photo captions. This caption on the cover of September’s Rolling Stone is all time. Add Jezebel’s perfect tampon joke and you might as well call it a day.

The accompanying article has Stephen Moyer (AKA Bill Compton) demystifying the ‘Vampires are sexy’ theory.
“If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn’t one before. It’s a de-virginization – breaking the hymen, creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood. And there’s something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that’s pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive.”

Zoiks.
