Preternatural tweens Chloë Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore star in the no-holds-barred first full-length trailer for Carrie, Kimberly Pierce’s (Boys Don’t Cry) remake of Brian de Palma’s 1976 Academy Award-nominated adaptation of Stephen King’s debut novel, which was shorter than this sentence.
Where a brief teaser trailer last year gave very little away about the story aside from the fact that Carrie White ends up covered in blood, the trailer leaves little of the film’s plot to the imagination; seriously, this one should be accompanied by a SPOILER ALERT. Not that that really makes any difference; like all cautionary tales and life itself, Carrie is about the journey, not the CGI corn syrup-soaked destination.
Carrie, originally due in March, should arrive in cinemas come October.
