So here’s a random fact to spice up your hump day: Did you know that former Bachelor Tim Robards is apparently mates with OG Queer Eye star Jai Rodriguez?

The iconic Fab 5 member sat for an interview with Australia’s The Morning Show this morn where he pitched his idea for an Aussie Queer Eye spinoff that would involve both him and the Neighbours actor leading the charge.
“[My idea for the show] is that I would love to come to Australia again and do a great show Queer Eye with a Straight Guy,” Jai said.
When one of the hosts points out that Robards is a pretty well put together bloke and doesn’t need much assistance, Rodriquez clarified, “I don’t want to make him over. But I thought we’re in a day now where we have fashion-forward guys. Tim and I could do makeovers.”

He adds that he’s already pitched the idea to Robards via text but he’s yet to reply, hence why he’s taken the idea to the Australian public instead.
Jai appeared on the original American series as a ‘culture vulture’ (AKA the original Karamo Brown) alongside fashion and styling expert Carson Kressley and grooming guru Kyan Douglas.
Since the noughties rendition of the series ended, Rodriquez has gone on to star in various other reality shows including Dance Moms, Hell’s Kitchen and Kendra on Top.
He also scored a coupla acting roles in shows like Malibu Country, Grey’s Anatomy and Bones.
Robards has yet to respond to Rodriquez’s request but we’re betting that his Ramsay Street responsibilities keep him pretty busy nowadays.
