After a super exciting year for thirsty Veronica Mars fans the world over, few thought it could possibly get any better but alas: “Rob and I spoke last night,” said CW president Mark Pedowitz, “He’s very excited about doing this for CW Seed. It may not appear before the film comes out.” And what is ‘this’? Well, they’re looking at doing a Veronica Mars spinoff series comprised of roughly eight 10-minute episodes, and on the internet, no less!
Pedowitz went on to say: “He told me about his schedule, and I said, ‘We’ll take it whenever you’re ready.’ ” There are no specifics yet and no word on which actors, if any, would return. Rob Thomas apparently has ‘a germ of an idea’ but hasn’t locked the concept in, Eddy.
He may be a bit busy though because he’s also writing a Veronica Mars book series (of course he is) that will be coming out this year. When it rains Veronica Mars, it pours.
