As Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens edges closer and closer to its December 17 release date, Lucasfilm have finally treated fans to the official poster for the movie:
Many have noted the presence of a new Death Star-like planet-killing weapon in the background, as well as the absence of one Luke Skywalker amid the classic characters like Han, Leia, Chewie, R2-D2 and C-3PO.
A new look at the film is set to air during ESPN‘s Monday Night Football in the U.S., while there’s a strong (but officially unconfirmed) rumour that tickets for the first showings will go on sale in cinemas worldwide from tomorrow morning.
