Steve Lee likes guns, I mean he really likes guns.
He likes guns so much, that he wrote a song about liking guns! Lee’s Song, named “I like Guns“, has been viewed a whopping 3,461,810 times on YouTube (at the time of writing), although expect that number to rise by few hits in the next couple of minutes, as Steve’s thick Aussie country accent rings out through the office.
But just when Steve was in danger of being pigeonholed, he’s announced the release of a new full length album; every song being gun-related. Steve says he found his calling when he realised “grown men stopped singing about shooting, and started singing about love.”
But in this modern Borat environment the really odd thing is that Steve Lee is not trying to make a point about gun control through a satirical parody of rednecks, he actually just fucking loves guns okay? I guess it’s all kind of refreshing, because when there’s no political or social undertones to masquerade interest in something kinda sketchy, you can just sit-back, relax, and watch a grown man unapologetically blow the shit out of things with big guns.
