The Biggest Loser Trainer Bob Harper Comes Out As Gay

Sorry, straight ladies. Trainer Bob Harper has been helping fatties be less fat on The Biggest Loser, the TV show best watched while gorging on pizza and using the box as a plate, for nine years. In an episode aired last night in the US, Bob not only continued on his quest trim down the fattest of the fat while simultaneously growing his own arm muscles so he has more surface area to tattoo, he helped one particular fatty who was struggling to speak to his parents about his sexuality by revealing that he, too, is gay

Harper had come out personally in his teens, but had never mentioned his sexuality on the show. He felt compelled to bring it up when comforting hefty homosexual Bobby Saleem “…to show Bobby that he doesn’t have to live in shame. Being gay doesn’t mean that you are less than anybody else. It’s just who you are.”

Sporting a moustache normally reserved for insensitive portrayals of gay men in the 90’s, Bob provided a lean, 0% body fat-containing shoulder to cry on, spouted lots of “It’s just who you are” platitudes, and told Bobby “When I came out … I realised that there was going to be so many obstacles. But being gay doesn’t mean being weak.”

It’s an internal journey, as well as an external transformation, you guyz.
