‘The Bachie’ Has Beefed Up Security So Paps Don’t Ruin Matty J’s Season

Paparazzi absolutely bloody love stalking the cast and crew of The Bachelor so that they can snap sneaky pics of the winners and ruin it for everybody else. Last year, the producers famously employed the Indonesian military to keep snappers out, but even that wasn’t enough to keep photographers from crashing the final rose ceremony.
It appears that producers at Warner Brothers don’t want anyone leaking details of Matty J‘s season, which is currently filming around Sydney, and have beefed up security around the shoot. Per reports in News Corp, paps are getting frustrated, and details have emerged of a recent, heated exchange between a crew member and photographers.
Their report claims that the crew member in question was angry after being followed to Channel Ten‘s Pyrmont headquarters while driving a fan full of hopeful bachelorettes. Allegedly, the same crew member confronted them several days later while Matty and the girls were filming a scene at Nelson’s Bay
“Back off and go away, don’t follow me,” he is said to have told photographers. When asked if he planned to “run people off the roads”, he supposedly responded: “I am that kind of person, I am not a good guy, put it that way. I am going to deal with this the way I like. I don’t like people following me.”
Warner Brothers stood behind the man in question when asked about the incident, saying that he was simply trying to protect those involved in the production and slamming paps for creating a hazard. In a statement to the media, a spokesman said:

“This specific incident, paparazzi were driving in a way that compromised participants’ safety while being transported. This has happened time and time again over the past few years causing unnecessary fear for those involved. A crew member asking someone to respect safety doesn’t constitute a threat.”

As per usual, if you don’t want the finale of this year’s Bachelor spoiled, the best thing to do is to just stay the hell off the internet in the day leading up to the finale.
