The Final ‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’ Trailer Just Dropped & OMG, Palpatine

HOO BOY, we’ve just copped the final Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer. Do you know what that means? It means we’re almost at the end of a year’s worth of waiting. Goddamn.

The Rise of Skywalker is the final chapter in the Skywalker saga, bringing to a conclusion the struggle between light and dark AKA Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

Straight to it.

Okay, here’s what I’m thinking about after one and a half viewings:

• Were those horses?
• We actually – finally – copped a look at Rose Tico 
• Lots of Kylo Ren
• That empty throne
• Sobbing at Leia
• C-3PO’s words: “Taking one last look … at my friends”
• Palpatine – also, was that a snippet of Rey meeting Palpatine at the end?
• AND, “Your coming together is your undoing” – wonder who that could be about!!!!
• The “always” at the very end of the trailer
• The movie looks stunning
