Star Wars: Episode IX is all wrapped up, and the cast and crew of the upcoming film have taken to social media to share an emotional photo to commemorate the last day of shooting.
The photo shows core cast members Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac and John Boyega embracing on what looks like the set of a desert planet, with Isaac seemingly shedding a few tears.
“It feels impossible, but today wrapped photography on Episode IX,” wrote director J.J. Abrams. “There is no adequate way to thank this truly magical crew and cast. I’m forever indebted to you all.”

John Boyega, who plays ex-stormtrooper Finn in the films, shared the same photo on Twitter, writing:
“That’s a wrap on Star Wars episode 9 and the end to a chapter of my life that I couldn’t be more thankful for. What a process! It really has been a joy to be in these movies surrounded by amazing people. JJ thank you for making my dreams come true.”
Daisy Ridley added “that’s a wrap on the finale of the Skywalker saga”, while Oscar Isaac hasn’t Tweeted in a while, because he’s a sexy bad boy like that.
The still-untitled Star Wars: Episode IX is coming in December of this year.
