Here’s Your 1st Look At What’s To Come On The ‘Spicks & Specks’ Reunion Show

Folks, ABC has gifted us our very first taste of the special television event that is the Spicks & Specks reunion show.

Back in August, ABC announced that the reunion would be a special one-off event as part of this year’s AusMusic Month which takes place in November.

Your OG host Adam Hills and team captains Alan Brough and Myf Warhurst are returning and will be joined by a bunch of Aussie comedians and musos. From the trailer alone I’m seeing the legend that is Briggs, Denise Scott, Frank Woodley, and Ricki-Lee Coulter.

Catch the teaser, below.

Spicks & Specks will return to your screens 7:40pm, Sunday November 4.

LOCK IT IN.

(Again, this is a one-off… but you know… reboots are all the rage at the moment so here’s bloody hoping.)

The ABC’s AusMusic Month, as you can tell by its name, is all about our local talent. Throughout November, the broadcaster will be celebrating a whole range of music and musos through live concerts, performances, and archival material.

In the meantime, there’s a string of docos on ABC iView to get you through October including Classic Countdown – a doco celebrating the glorious reign of the program. Not to mention its collection of performances and interviews with legendary musical greats.

Then there’s also Underscore and Createability. The former follows the journey of composer Nigel Westlake as he creates the music for the 2017 romantic comedy Ali’s Wedding while the latter – produced by independent filmmakers – heads to regional NSW to tell the stories of artists with disabilities.
