Well, it turns out that Snoop Dogg doesn’t smoke weed ALL DAY everyday. The rest of his time is spent producing television shows ABOUT weed.
The rapper is set to become an executive producer of new MTV comedy series about – surprise surprise – marijuana, titled ‘Mary + Jane’.
The show will follow two female twenty-something best mates, played by Jessica Rothe and Scout Durwood, who run an all-female marijuana delivery service in Los Angeles.
Current executive producers Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont told audiences of the rapper’s involvement at a panel for the series at the Television Critics Association press tour.

The rapper will also guest star in an episode of the show – Kaplan and Elfont say he won’t be playing himself, but a “a very, very special person”:
“You don’t know when he’s going to appear. You have to watch all the way to an end to see him.”
Snoop Dogg nee Lion nee Dogg has also created the theme song for the smoke-heavy show.
‘Mary + Jane’ is set to air on MTV in the US on September 10th this year.
