Side By Side: INXS Mini Series Cast Revealed

Shine, the luminous Australian TV production company responsible for printing money on The Voice, MasterChef and The Biggest Loser, have officially set down the hair curlers and said need you tonight and for the next few weeks after to the high-cheekboned cast of their impending INXS mini series with shooting now underway on Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS, a four hour miniseries commissioned by Channel Seven which examines the voluminous hair and tumultuous journey of the enduring Sydney music outfit all the way through to the untimely death of lead singer Michael Hutchence.

The confirmed cast now includes the following INXS lookalikes.

LUKE ARNOLD AS MICHAEL HUTCHENCE
Where do I know him from? Winners & Losers,  McLeod’s Daughters, Rush, Rescue: Special Ops, City Homicide, and Steven Spielberg’s The Pacific. Is set to swash-buckle American audiences as John Silver in an upcoming Starz drama series about pirates.  

ALEX WILLIAMS AS KIRK PENGILLY
Where do I know him from? Played the lead/Minesweeper as Julian Assange in Underground: The Julian Assange Story.

HUGH SHERIDAN AS GARRY GARY BEERS
Where do I know him from? Packed To The Rafters, commercials, not hosting the AACTAs.

IDO DRENT AS JON FARRISS
Where do I know him from? Shortland Street, Offspring.

NICHOLAS MASTERS AS TIM FARRISS
Where do I know him from? You don’t. He’s a newcomer.
