There’s Lots Of Love And A Chlamydia Outbreak In The ‘Sex Education’ Season 2 Trailer

Sex Education S2

Today, on this fine Wednesday, Netflix has gifted us the trailer for Sex Education season 2. And I don’t know what else to say other than it looks damn good.

So Sex Education is about Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), a socially awkward high school student whose mother, Jean (Gillian Anderson), is a sex therapist. You gotta love that for him. In season 1, Otis and his mate Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey) start a sex clinic at school because Otis knows quite a bit about sex thanks to Mum. Messiness, chaotic energy, wholesomeness follows.

In season 2, Otis has to control his horniness around his new girlfriend Ola (Patricia Allison) while dealing with his, uh, friendship with Maeve. Meanwhile, Chlamydia has taken over Moordale Secondary. Yep. Maeve and Aimee are the best of mates now, Eric‘s new-found self-confidence is turning heads, and Adam is at military school (but still conflicted by his feelings for Eric). There’s more, but I’ll save that for the trailer. Prepare yourselves.

All eight episodes of Sex Education season 2 hit Netflix January 17.

How bloody good!

Stellar quotes from the trailer include:

  • “My cum tastes like kimchi.”
  • “I think I just had a very small orgasm.”
  • “You finally get a girlfriend and she’s basically your sister.”
  • “Sex doesn’t make us whole, so how could you ever be broken?”

It’s been ten minutes and I’m still laughing over the “sister” line. Good content.
