Selena Gomez had a brief loyalty slip up with her bestie Taylor Swift but she’s smoothed things out on the ‘gram.

Gomez shared an Instagram Story to promote Kim Kardashian’s new SKIMS shapewear line.
In the pic, the singer could be seen wearing the black lewk in her bathroom mirror, captioned with: “Legit so freaking comfortable.”

Naturally, Taylena shippers (fans of Selena and Taylor’s long-running friendship) weren’t having her openly promote Kim’s sworn enemy so they flooded social media with reminders to Sel.
Like clockwork, Sel then deleted the Kim snap and in a very pointed move, shared a pic alongside Taylor.
“My ride or die, I would die for this one,” she dramatically began.
“Thank you for forever being by my side. You have taught me so much, walked through all of this with me, STAYED and remind me to be a better human being.”
She concluded, “I’m on your side for life.”

Read that again folks: “I’m on your side for life.”
Ordinarily we wouldn’t think much of that statement but considering she wrote this long, passionate speech about Tay just as fans called her out for supporting Kim is v. telling, IMO.
During a recent conversation with Beats 1’s Zane Lowe, Gomez gushed about her friendship with Swift and her family.
“She was frustrated when I was frustrated. She was sad when I was sad. But more than anything, my friends stood by my side when I think they visibly saw me in so much pain,” said Gomez, whose two new singles were inspired by her tumultuous relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
“I played her this song and I played it with her mom and dad, and I showed her the video. Her mum and Taylor started crying,” continued Gomez. “It wasn’t because the song was emotional, it was just because the first thing they said to me was, ‘We’re so happy that you’re here. After seeing all of that, this is such a cool moment.’ That’s a huge thing for me.”
Sorry Kim, Sel’s made her allegiance pretty clear.
